Under the Education Funding strategy the Trust for the 2021/22 financial year granted $74,451 to four Greytown education institutions.

Kuranui College received $30,657 for their future focused learning initiative.  This funding will go towards purchasing an additional 170 chromebooks for the Year 9 and 10 students.

Greytown Primary School also identified a need to further focus on their eLearning and digital curriculum and received a grant of $29,562 to assist with the purchase of more chromebooks for students.

Greytown Early Years will again use their funding to help cover its professional learning and development and the children’s explorers programme. They received a total of $11,700 to fully cover both initiatives.

The $2,532 awarded to Greytown Kindergarten will be used to help fund the natural space area.

This takes the total amount granted to the four local education providers over the last 12 years to $865,323.59.
